New Beginnings Peer Recovery Center

The Journey Has Just Begun

New Beginnings Peer Recovery Center  is hosted by Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. and funded by The Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS). Our center provides peer-to-peer support services for adults in various stages of recovery. We understand the multi-dimensional effects substance use has on individuals, family members, friends and society. We are dedicated to provide a safe, judgment-free culture infused with compassion. We are located in the heart of Lawrence where the center opened in April of 2015.

New Beginnings Peer Recovery Center  maintains a member-driven schedule Monday through Saturday where recovery-related workshops, trainings, services, meetings and social events are delivered. The center serves members who are in recovery and welcomes family members and friends who are involved in their recovery. New Beginnings Peer Recovery Center provides a stigma-free environment where shared experience leads to mutual respect, healing and sense of belonging.
